Office Live Mail

I logged into Window Live Mail today and noticed that the logo and branding of the Microsoft service has changed again. Now ‘Office Live Mail’ the service is otherwise unchanged. Microsoft could be experimenting on what brand Windows or Office to use for each of it’s online services. Interestingly Windows Vista does come with a product called Windows Mail (the replacement for Outlook Express) and yet still produce, all be it in beta, a Windows Live Mail Desktop client.

*Update. Later in the day I logged in to Live Mail and the logo was back to Windows Live Mail again. Not sure what was going on there.

    Office Live Mail is just a rebranding of Windows Live Mail if you signed up for a domain in Office Live

    Thanks Gerald. It ‘magically’ reverted back to the standard Live Mail logo later on that very day. Must have just been a blip.
