Wow. What a fabulous game. This is the sort of game that I imagine a Warhammer 40K shooter to be like. Infact there are some stark similarities between the war, weapons, armour and genre of Gears of War and that of Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K universe.
However Epic have produced an absolute blinder here. In my first turn I played through until reaching the Beserker before deciding to take a rest. Fabulous visuals, wonderful smoke effects, excellent weapons (that are stashed upon your person hanging around you like a small arsenal), and some really nice cut scenes. Absolutely tremendous.
