Synapse Life - looks lovely but will anyone use it?

I received notice that Synapse Life has begun open beta. This web application is another in a long line of tools which seek to help you manage your life on the web. You have a calendar, a place to store favourites, you can tag favourites, you have a contacts list and also a RSS feed viewer. Synapse Life is nothing particularly new but it’s the way that the application brings it all together into a very simple and attractive ‘Web 2.0′ style interface that makes the different, I think. Synapse Life uses Google search to allow you to search web pages in each of its main categories, Web, Life and Business. Web covers your browsing, bookmarking, tagging experience. Life holds you contacts, calendar etc. And Business.. well at the moment doesn’t hold anything as it’s due next year. But the plan is to have some simple business applications. Not sure what to expect here.

Synapse Life is another very attractive example of the latest glut of web applications. I’m not sure how it’s going to compete with the likes of Live.com but it certainly is pretty.
