I’ve decided to start putting together the requirements for what would make the ultimate blog tool. This is based upon the experience I’ve had with Blogger, WordPress and Community Server and using publishing tools such as Windows Live Writer and Writely. I still feel that although great these tools are still not meeting my full requirements.
What I’m going to do with the requirements is another thing. Maybe I’ll give themto someone to actually build this tool. Who knows? But for now I’m just going to gather my own thoughts and I’d like to know yours too. What I laso plan to do is highlight what I think are some of the deficiencies in the current crop of tools that I’ve tried. Now this is going to be a complete critique of these tools (and note it’s only the ones that I’ve - maybe there is all ready a tool that will do what I want it to I just haven’t found it yet).
I will cause this piece of work project Spannr. Spannr, because it’s a tool for getting the job done and dropping the ‘e’ simply because Flickr does.
