Futurama reached 26 in Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Cartoons at all time. Andi Peters said the show was genius and Chris Donald (the guy who created the Viz comic) said “there was obviously this fat, talentless bastard sat at Fox who cancelled the show because it wasn’t the Simpsons.. we need more Simpsons”. These guys have gone up in my estimation immensely, yes even Andi Peters. Billy West, who voiced the main character Philip J. Fry, said that Fox had always wanted to cancel the show. Nice to know someone knows how good this show was and has decided that it must return.

The Transformers did get into the top 40 at 37, but was pretty much dismissed as being “this show where robots changed into cars and stuff”. Rubbish.
Obviously the Simpsons won. Yes it’s funny, but it’s not Futurama.
