And so on this day of Wednesday 20th September in the year 2006 that I get the keys to my own home. Yes after about 3 months of to-ing and fro-ing I now have the keys to my own apartment; apartment number 8.

I’m quite excited about this and I sat on the floor of the living room (there’s no furniture in it) and fired up my notebook (what else?) to make some comments… a snag list the estate agent called it. There’s nothing terribly wrong with number 8 just a few minor things. There’s some paint on one of the bedroom windows, for instance. So over the next couple of weeks I’ll be transitioning from my currently rented apartment 5 to apartment 8 (not in the same same building mind you). Hooray.
