Windows Live Writer (WLW) continues to keep a lot of my attention. I don’t think I’ve spent this much time on something tech related since Oblivion on the Xbox 360.
I’ve tried posting to Blogger (see below)
As you can see I got the error message whic has been identified as a bug. I haven’t posted to [...]

Paul Stamatiou has the most digged Windows Live Writer blog post and it truly is a good post with lots of screenies. A few bugs have been found such as the one where a temporary posting appears as Live writer discovers what blog engine it needs to post to. I had this too when I set up [...]

Windows Live Writer has made it onto TechCrunch.
I agree with the comments about the API being the main thing that has the potential to differentiate Writer from other such tools. I’ve tried Ecto on the Mac myself but, for me bizarelly enough, I found Writer to be more intuitive. Live Writer for Mac could be a [...]

Rather than wipe out menori.com I’ve set up a sandpit to play with Windows Live Writer.
See menori.wordpress.com to follow my random (but also structured) tests. To date I’ve tried altering images, overlapping images, changing the ‘warmth’ of images, changing the orientation of images and clicking things very fast.
I’ve only broken Live Writer once so far (when [...]

There’s an awfully good post (as far as screenshots are concerned) by Nathan Weinberg who has some indepth coverage. He also comments on the ‘break of embargo’ on the coverage of Live writer which wasn’t supposed to be announced until tomorrow. Well that’s too late now and the ‘real’ press will soon take over. I’m not [...]

Live Writer is quite special. I’m particularly impressed by it’s slick editing style and simple UI. On the surface it is very similar to WordPad but with and Office 2003 feel about it. The Live Team obviously decided not to make the user interface like that of Office 2007. Perhaps that would be a bit [...]

Windows Live Writer is announced!
http://windowslivewriter.spaces.live.com
After much speculation, well on Menori.com anyway, the new Windows Live offering is available.
Seems Beau, the one responsible for much of the hype these last few days has posted all ready and, as one of the initial testers, has some useful comments. Judging from Beau’s comments it sounds awfully similar to Word 2007 [...]

So you get a little jingle when Windows starts up. That’s nothing compared to the all mighty intro you get on a Powerbook, as this video demonstrates. Just be wary where you boot up, it might annoy some people

It’s about time Bonnie was given her own TV show I think. Who is Bonnie Bailey? I hear you mutter? Well Bonnie is pictured at the top of this post. Bonnie has performed vocals on Hed Kandi produced tracks since 2003. I’m happy to say that she’s maintained her alliance with Mark Doyle and has performed on [...]
