By any other name the ‘Guided Help’ in Vista. However, it seems that Microsoft are cannily using this great technology in other places.
The Active Content Wizard blog contains all manner of info about how to build ACW (at last I learned another TLA) ready applications. This is the kind of feature that really sets Vista apart from previous versions of Windows. Although it’s not Vista exclusive as the blog explains.
The ACW blog also has a link to Blogcasts of Guided Help in Action. Tremendous stuff. Just as I thought someone has done a video of using Guided Help to find out how to change the file extention settings. Incidentally the Blogcast site is a great demonstration of Microsoft’s Community Server capabilties. I remember this product from about 2 or 3 years ago and it’s certainly come on leaps and bounds as a blogging / podcasting engine (or should I say blogcasting?).
And thanks for the nice comment James. I certainly see menori.com as fun.
