Well, still no real information on Windows Live Writer but there definitely seems to be some interest in the term “Windows Live Writer”. I’ve had about a dozen or so visits to menori.com from both Google and MSN search results for “Windows Live Writer”, either as separate words or as a phrase. These have come from IP addresses in the US (several from the Redmond area) and from as far away as Australia… g’day.
So there’s definintely some quiet buzz around this, but still nothing from the mighty Microsoft themselves nor from any other blog. In fact if you search for Windows Live Writer on Google menori.com actually comes out as the top result 
An intriguing note can be found via searching for “Windows Live Writer” on Technorati whereby my first post appears and another post by aronchick - “The Iron Yuppie”.
The post, visible via technorati but the link to the site does not work, reads
“This is now my second post from “Windows Live Writer” and I like it. A LOT. Super simple, it did auto detection that I post through blogger and tracks a bunch of different elements including styles and recent posts. The only thing I’m not ecstatic about is the fact that every time I do a new post, it has to open up a new window. I’d much prefer having all the windows in one tabbed interface, or just closing the existing window (once posted) and reuse. Also, rather than firing up the browser page externally, you could have it in the same tabbed interface. All in all though, nice work Windows team!“

Thanks for that Ashleigh. This is becoming more tantalising. I’ve had a few more visits to menori.com from people searching for Windows Live Writer. The viral buzz has begun methinks.
