By now you probably appreciate that I’m into new stuff, but I’m also a bit of a nostalgia freak. I also like Apple products. Simplicity, elegance, energy. They reflect the way that Jobs does his presentations and takes you into his ‘reality distortion field’.
So I found this presentation of Steve introducing the iPod on YouTube.
I’ve been studying the slides, the tone of voice and the message. Simply because I’ve got presentations to do myself coming up. I’ve done presentations before and typically I do them with a certain amount of passion and energy (nothing like Ballmer does) but not in the way that Steve ‘courts’ the audience. Tell them, show them and tell them again.
