Remember when Yahoo! lookied like this? Remember when the web was basic? Lots of text, little use of CGI and Perl?
Web 2.0 has introduced a whole raft of concepts, technologies and design elements in websites that have moved on the whole experience ten fold.
However, Scobleizer is of the view that VERY basic web design and [...]
And yes I did. Page Flakes (what a wonderful name) is another RSS aggregator portal. I found it just before Ole posted a comment on my Windows Live 2.0 posting. It’s visually very attractive and once loaded is a treat to use. It does take quite while to load though so that’s my only major [...]
It’s an old idea. Microsoft introduced Active Desktop when IE4 came out and it was a very limited implementation. But as the web has moved on and syndication services such as RSS has taken off, email notifications have evolved and other alerts have become prevalent it’s become and increasingly complex world to work in.
The are [...]

I’m very excited to announce that a collaboration (should I call it a mashup? maybe not) between Dan, Ashleigh, Graeme and myself is going to take place. It will be our collective Oblivion blog and will record our experiences, thoughts and impressions of the game.

Well well..
Bethesda have done themselves proud once again with “Oblivion”. I this game doesn’t win countless game of the year awards then I don’t know what will. It’s quite literally.. stunning.
Throughout my gaming life several titles have really impressed me. Oblivion is the next in a long line of games like Elite, Staff of Karanth, [...]
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion arrived today for Xbox 360. Ooh.. exciting.
I post this having literally just put the disk into the machine. Hearing the even more cinematic signature music made the hairs on my neck stand up. I played Morrowind to death (never actually finished it though).
Needless to say I will tell my Oblivion [...]
Well. Another browser based word processor springs up and it’s rubbish. Unintuitive, every line appears to be automatically centre aligned when you import a Word document etc. It’s not very good.
I think I’ll be keeping my ribbons for now.
Yes, I know it’s Michael Robertson’s baby. But just because someone did mp3.com, Linspire and other stuff [...]
