It’s the start of a new month and the background colour on my PSP turned yellow. What happened to the blue background?! Is it f*cked? I though. Well no. Apparently Sony thought the idea of changing the background colour to represent a new month would be a good idea. I suppose yellow is appropriate for autumn.
And with that I decided to downgrade my PSP (or rather retro grade seeing as it had been a version 1.5 firmware when I bought the thing). After reading as much as I could [thank you Afterdawn] I decided to give it a shot. And it worked like a dream, no worries. What now? Well I decided to pull down Fifa to give that ago. I’ve been such a fan of World Tour Soccer previously. If it’s any good I’ll buy it. I’m a firm believer in supporting software houses, but I do believe in try before buy.
Sony had no need to fret. I now have 2 PSP’s. One to keep up to date with the firmware and play the real UMD games that I buy and one to doss about on with homebrew. Afterall, my PSP is dieing to run MAME and have SideArms put on it!
